Epsom Salts actually soften our skin, and soften our bath water. And while we soak our skin absorbs magnesium which has great health benefits.
Can I bath my youngsters in Epsom Salts?
Certainly, under supervision of course. And the warm water provides the added benefit of calming our little ones in preparation for a good nights sleep.
Do Epsom Salts come from Epsom in the UK?
Magnesium Sulfate is mined in many places around the world, but the name came from the English region in which the salts and their healing properties became famous.
Can I use Epsom Salts for recovery after exercise?
Yes, a soak in a hot bath after sports or a workout has great benefits, it sooths muscles and alleviates pain.

Can I drink Epsom Salts?
Not recommended, but we know people have used it for constipation and as a purgative. We are not sure it's good for our kidneys either.

That's very rare, but if your skin does not react well to the combination of hot water and magnesium sulfate, avoid using. Epsom salts are very mild and very safe generally if used in moderation.
